Gentle Hands and a Tender Heart
Thankful for Gentle Hands and a Tender Heart
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” — Ephesians 4:32 (NIV)
In caregiving, our hands often speak louder than our words. They bathe, feed, lift, comfort, and wipe away tears. Yet behind every gentle touch is something far more powerful — a tender heart moved by love.
To care for someone is to reflect the compassion of Christ Himself. Our work is not just about completing tasks; it’s about conveying dignity, kindness, and warmth through even the smallest gestures. A gentle hand can calm fear. A soft word can renew hope. Together, they become love in motion.
Today, I’m thankful for the ability to serve with both strength and softness — to be a vessel through which God’s love can flow. May every action remind those we care for that they are seen, valued, and loved deeply by both us and by Him.
