January can feel heavy for caregivers. After weeks of heightened emotion, disrupted routines, family gatherings, and added responsibilities, many caregivers enter the new year already exhausted.

For the month of January only, Kindly Helping Home Care offers the January Caregiver Reset & Recovery Visit — a calm, intentional companion care service designed to help caregivers reset, recover, and re-establish balance after the holidays.

  • During the visit, a Kindly Helping Home Care companion provides one-on-one, non-medical companionship that may include:

    • Gentle conversation and emotional reassurance

    • Guided calming activities such as puzzles, reading, or reminiscence

    • Quiet companionship or light seated movement

    • Supportive presence focused on comfort, dignity, and emotional regulation

Care is always tailored to the individual’s preferences and needs.

  • This service is designed to give caregivers permission to pause. While care is being provided, caregivers may:

    • Rest or take intentional personal time

    • Run errands or attend appointments

    • Step outside the home knowing their loved one is supported

Caregivers may also choose to receive a brief emotional check-in, encouragement, or optional faith-centered reflection or prayer.

  • This service is ideal for:

    • Family caregivers feeling drained after the holidays

    • Spouses caring for loved ones with dementia or chronic illness

    • Adult children balancing caregiving with work and family

    • Caregivers working to re-establish routine in the new year

  • The January Caregiver Reset & Recovery Visit is available:

    • Exclusively in Cape May County, New Jersey

    • For the month of January only

Availability is limited and visits are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • This service provides non-medical companion care only and does not include clinical services or hands-on personal care such as bathing or medication administration. Faith-based support is always optional and offered only if requested.

  • Pricing is based on visit length and may be scheduled in 30-minute increments:

    • 30 minutes — $30

    • 60 minutes — $50

    • 90 minutes — $85

    • 120 minutes — $100
