Gift of Empathy
Day 20 – Thankful for the Gift of Empathy
“Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.” — Romans 12:15 (NIV)
Empathy allows us to step into another person’s world — to feel their joy, their sorrow, their fears. It is what transforms caregiving from a task into a ministry.
Through empathy, we connect deeply, seeing others not just as patients or clients, but as precious souls created by God. It’s through that shared understanding that true healing begins.
Caregiver’s Prayer:
“Lord, soften my heart to feel as others feel. Let my compassion be a reflection of Your own.”
