    At Selah Ruth’s Sanctuary, each day is designed to bring comfort, peace, and connection — not just for our guests, but for their cherished companions as well.
    We are proud to be a pet-friendly respite home, allowing approved primary pets to stay or visit during their loved one’s time of rest.

    ☀️ Morning — Gentle Beginnings

    6:30 AM – 8:00 AM
    Wake up peacefully to soft music and friendly smiles. Our staff provide gentle assistance with bathing, dressing, and morning routines.

    For our pet guests, this is walk-and-breakfast time too — fresh air, gentle stretches, and a little tail-wagging joy to start the day.

    8:00 AM – 9:00 AM
    Enjoy a nourishing breakfast served family-style, followed by a short morning prayer or devotional. Pets relax nearby or enjoy a cozy resting space in the lounge.

    9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    Start the day with gentle movement: chair yoga, stretching, or a short walk outside — pet companions are welcome to join on-leash for some sunshine and companionship.

    🌸 Midday — Connection & Companionship

    10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
    Creative hour brings color and joy! Guests may choose from:
    🎨 Painting, crafting, or puzzles
    🎵 Music and memory games
    🌿 Gardening or light porch time
    🐾 Pet social hour – gentle playtime and bonding moments for guests with pets

    11:45 AM – 12:30 PM
    Lunch is served family-style — wholesome, balanced, and filled with laughter. Pets relax nearby or enjoy their own treat or quiet break in our designated comfort corner.

    12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
    Quiet rest period — soft music, scripture reading, or naptime. Pets may rest comfortably beside their owner or in their cozy assigned space.

    🌼 Afternoon — Comfort & Care

    2:00 PM – 3:30 PM
    Afternoon snack and refreshment time. Then choose from our activity options:

    • Technology help for seniors (checking messages, video calls, online records)

    • Scripture journaling or small group devotion

    • Gentle pet walk or brush time in the garden area

    3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
    Relaxed fellowship and reflection — residents can enjoy conversation, light reading, or time spent with their furry friends. Families arriving for pickup are always welcome to share this peaceful time together.

    🌅 Evening — Peaceful Closure

    5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
    Dinner is served — comforting meals shared in community.
    Guests who stay for dinner may enjoy a relaxed evening devotional afterward while pets unwind or rest nearby.

    6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
    Evening devotionals, music, or a short group reflection close the day in peace. Guests may also take one last evening walk with their pets before bedtime.

    8:00 PM onward
    Full-time residents begin their evening wind-down:

    • Hygiene assistance and pajamas

    • A cup of tea or warm milk

    • A soft bedtime prayer and quiet rest

    Pets settle in for the night in their designated cozy spot or beside their owner if approved.

  • Short-term stays in a warm, private-room environment or daily care options so caregivers can rest without worry.

  • Home‑style meals with dietary restrictive options; hydration prompts and joyful shared dining.

  • Gentle exercise, hymn‑sings, crafts, devotions, and unhurried conversations.

  • Convenient add‑on service for families and local seniors—fresh, folded, and on time.

  • Local rides for appointments, church, and errands—scheduled with safety and care.

  • Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and medication reminders. All personal care medical services are privately arranged by the client and not delivered by Selah Ruth’s staff. Inquire for details.
