Rest and Renewal

Day 12 – Thankful for Rest and Renewal

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NIV)

Caregivers give so much — time, energy, heart. But even the most giving hearts need rest. Rest is not a reward; it’s a necessity. God Himself modeled rest and invites us to do the same.

Taking time to pause doesn’t mean weakness — it means obedience. When we rest, we make space for God to restore what the day has drained.

Caregiver’s Prayer:
“Lord, thank You for the gift of rest. Renew my strength, refresh my soul, and remind me it’s okay to pause.”
